These loans are designed for completing ground up new construction or remodel projects that will be completed over several months. Loan funds are held in a reserve escrow account and disbursed as the project progresses.
This is where the seller is the bank and makes a loan to the buyer vs using an outside lender. This is a good option if the owner has a lot of equity in the property and would like to receive payments instead of a full cash out.
